Data deletion

Send an email to hellow@ellyonsoft.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and include:

• your name;
• how you contacted us: the phone number you use on WhatsApp, or your Facebook or Instagram name or username if you wrote to our Page or Instagram account;
• if you prefer, the email address we have for you or the business you work for.

We may reply to confirm it's you before deleting anything, so that nobody can delete someone else's data.

• your conversations with our team on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram: every message, note and reaction in them;
• the photos, videos, voice notes and documents you sent or we sent you, from our file storage;
• the link between your WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram account and your contact record, so new messages don't match you automatically;
• your contact details and demo bookings, unless we need to keep them (below).

Deleting data in our platform doesn't delete it from your own phone or from WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram: messages you sent stay in your own apps.

If your business is or was our customer, we may keep what the law requires us to keep for accounting, tax or legal purposes (for example invoices and contracts), and only for as long as required. We'll tell you if that applies.

We'll confirm we've received your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless the law that applies to you sets a shorter time. We'll email you when it's done.

Team members who connected their WhatsApp Business number can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Integrations: our platform stops receiving its messages and its access is removed. To also delete the conversations already in our platform, write to hellow@ellyonsoft.com.
